MISS ZAMBIA UK BEAUTY PAGEANT is a multi-award winning and internationally acclaimed beauty Pageant.  It has been running for 12 years and is the only pageant in the UK that has international affiliation and owns franchises for approximately 20 international beauty pageants spread across the world. It is also the only pageant in which all finalists get an international modeling contract.

Miss Zambia UK Beauty Pageant is a social responsibility initiative based on the principle of “Beauty with a Purpose” and is ultimately aimed at charitable and community works.  The pageant is dedicated to the memory of all Zambian women who have died of HIV/AIDS and the proceeds are donated to charities for HIV/AIDS orphans in Zambia.  Winners and title-holders use their title and influence to raise funds for HIV/AIDS orphans during the period of their reign and beyond.

In addition, Miss Zambia UK is an innovative PR campaign and a creative tourism marketing vehicle to profile Zambia and its people.  Winners and title-holders become Zambia’s cultural ambassadors as they go around the world representing Zambia at international pageants such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss Globe, and many others across the globe.

In keeping with our principle of ‘Beauty with a Purpose’, the Pageant works with, supports and sponsors many charities for underprivileged children in Africa. In 2006, reigning Miss Zambia UK was the first ever and so far only beauty queen, to be honoured with a GAB Award, (Gathering of Africa’s Best) in recognition of outstanding work in charitable causes. In 2009 the reigning Miss Zambia UK became the first ever winner in the world, of the BEFFTA Award as Best reigning Beauty Queen.  In addition, the Miss Zambia UK Beauty Pageant scooped all the awards in the Beauty Pageant section of the BEFFTA Awards as Best Pageant, Best Pageant Director, Best Former Beauty Queen and Best current Beauty Queen.

Previous winners and titles holders have gone on to start their own HIV/AIDS charities in addition to becoming role models, top models, international models and supermodels gracing runways, catwalks and magazine covers around the world.
